So yesterday, Marma bought a Wii. ( If you knew my mother, you'd know how OH MY GOSH this is. Like, the last video game she bought was a Gameboy Color when I was five). It was a new experience for me to go video game shopping-- I think the last game I went shopping for was some SIMS game four-ish years ago. Anywho, I went with Zelda: Twilight Princess in mind. But then I saw Ookami.
And then.... I saw it. My new best friend.
Castlevania: Judgment.
(Simon doesn't interest me much at all. I'm way more enamored with Alucard. And Grant Danasty. Me+Grant=BFFL).
So I was playing last night, and when I was listening to Aeon talk in the beginning of Alucard's story (right after switching the audio to Japanese, because as much as I love the English language, it does not go well with attractive Japanese/Castlevanian males) and his voice was giving me major brain abuse. "I KNOW THIS VOICE. I KNOW IT. WHO IS IT?!" I sooo knew the voice, but just couldn't place it. For a while I thought it was Kyouran Kazoku Nikki's Ginka, but then as I was walking out of my room at 5 A.M. this morning to play it again, I realized-
"Oh my gosh, it's Austria-san!"
And, as often as I say it, I mean it tenfold this time: Now I can die a happy fangirl.
So thehidden meaning of this post is a reminder to myself to make CV: Judgment the first game I complete. The closest I've ever gotten to beating a game was almost beating the first of the Elite Four in Pokemon Yellow. I'm an embarrassment to my gender. It's time to get on the ball, ですね?
